Energy prices continue to climb with no end in sight. Many people attempt to reduce their consumption of fossil fuels such as gasoline and switch to electricity. In the long-run, the prices of electricity are going to continue to rise along with prices of fossil fuels. The only way to circumvent this issue is with electricity generated from solar power, and until power plants begin to do this for you, it is up to the home owner to install their own solar energy system.

No one would argue that the price of power generated from solar panels is lower than what you would pay your local utility company, but the cost of the solar panels has been too expensive. The good news is that the price of panels have dropped in recent years, and in addition, solar technology has improved to the point where solar panels are producing more wattage than ever before.
